Production of 5000 t-shirts for an international conference event at Malaysia

Obstacles

Just a fledgling company with no Logistics, Staff or Import/Export license. Delivery was going to be close to impossible given the tight deadlines

The YDS Solution

• Contacted 50 members of the conference travelling from Bangalore to Malaysia. Spoke to each personally and convinced them to carry a portion of t-shirts
• Collected all PNR numbers, upgraded all passengers luggage, made 100 bags to store the t-shirts on flight, coordinated with Air Asia cargo office and customs to ensure this goes smoothly
• Still 2000 t-shirts pending in Bangalore. Contacted friends, booked them flights to Malaysia (Free trip!) with upgraded luggage, and repeated the process of sending the t-shirts via luggage.
